Each year, harmful invasive weeds, plant pests and diseases cost the U.S. $40 billion in losses to cropland, grasslands, woody areas, forests and riparian areas, and expensive eradication and control efforts, according to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

BISMARCK, N.D. – Anhydrous ammonia nurse tank owners are urged to check the manufacturer and manufacture date of their nurse tanks after a safety advisory was issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration about the possibility of catastrophic tank failure. Tanks made by the American Welding and Tank (AWT) Company in Fremont, Ohio, between Jan. 1, 2007, and Dec. 31, 2011, have had integrity issues with the welding and may rupture.
