BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Dakota Department of Agriculture has received confirmation of the presence of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in a backyard chicken flock in Williams County from North Dakota State University.

BISMARCK – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring announced that applications are now open for regional livestock development and planning grants. The grant program was created by the 68th Legislative Assembly earlier this year. The program will assist counties and regional planning councils in livestock development planning.

North Dakota is competing with seven other states to see which state can get the most “crunches” into a piece of local produce, per capita.
