We strive to improve the quality of life of the people of North Dakota, to broaden the State's economic base, create new wealth and generate quality jobs for our people.The Department of Commerce is seeking a Program Administrator to assist with the management, development, and administration of projects for the State Energy Program and other federally funded energy programs.As the Program Administrator, you will:Develop and implement energy efficiency, renewable energy, and energy workforce development projects for the State Energy Program. Support management in vendor contracts, perform on-site monitoring, and review invoices.Help coordinate state and multi-state planning projects. Conduct research and perform analysis on energy programs and policies. Gather energy data, perform data tracking and analysis to support energy efficiency goals.To be successful in this role, you will have an understanding or the ability to understand energy programs funded the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the Inflation Reduction Act.To be considered for this role, you must be able to travel in-state (20%). You must have a minimum of an associate degree with three (3) years of similar or related experience OR bachelor's degree with (1) one year of similar or related experience.Location: Commerce has a central office location in Bismarck and this position will be working remotely from any North Dakota location. In-State travel will be required.The hiring salary range is $4,476 - $5,036 monthly.

Dickinson, a community of about 25,000 residents has many unique things to offer such as a museum center with four unique museums including a dinosaur museum, a golf course nestled along the scenic Heart River, a brewery and a vineyard. Dickinson is just a daytrip away from many ND historical sites such as Medora, Theodore Roosevelt National Park, the highest point in ND, White Butte, the Killdeer Mountain Battlefield, Fort Sauerkraut, the Assumption Abbey and the Indian Creek wildlife management area just to name a few. For the outdoor enthusiasts there are ATV and hiking trails, an abundance of upland and big game to hunt and places to camp and fish.This position will represent indigent clients in judicial proceedings in the Southwest Judicial District and on appeals in the North Dakota Supreme Court. This position will require travel to all counties in the Southwest Judicial District and will provide conflict services in other jurisdictions. Our agency is committed to a vertical representation structure. You will be handling cases from initial appearance through trial, allowing you to gain experience in all stages of the judicial process. The Dickinson Public Defender Office is made up of a Supervising Attorney, this position, and two administrative assistants. Maintain license to practice laws and obtain required CLE credits. May assist with agency education and training programs and projects for public defenders and contract attorneys. Performs other duties as necessary and/or assigned by the Commission.

Minimum Qualifications

Licensure as an attorney eligible to practice law in the State of North Dakota. We will consider applications from persons eligible for licensure, but not currently licensed in ND. Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Analytical and decision-making ability.
