BISMARCK – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring applauded the Environmental Protection Agency and Army Corps of Engineer’s announcement today of the Navigable Waters Protection Rule (NWPR), which defines Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS). The agencies finalized a repeal of the 2015 WOTUS rule last year.

BISMARCK – The North Dakota State Board of Animal Health and the North Dakota Department of Agriculture’s Animal Health Division are reminding horse owners to protect their horses from equine herpesvirus-1 (EHV-1). A horse in Bottineau County has been confirmed positive for equine herpesvirus myeloencephalopathy (EHM), the neurologic manifestation of the virus.
