A certificate of veterinary inspection is required for all dogs, cats and ferrets entering the state for longer than 30 days.
Rabies – Dogs, cats and ferrets over 3 months of age entering the state for any length of time shall have been vaccinated against rabies, in accordance with the specifications of the vaccine used. A copy of the current rabies vaccination certificate must accompany the animal.
No dogs, cats or ferrets less than 3 months old accepted from areas quarantined for rabies.
